Most of the steel is in, they come back in the morning to complete. Inspection Thursday, shotcrete on Friday

I learned 2 things:
#1. Make sure it’s authentic Pebble Tec / Sheen. Not a cheaper (more profitable) imposter.
#2 Make sure the finish is put on “evenly”. Not “ Oh... it’s supposed to be blotchy and uneven”

^^^ This is very true, if it's not right when they plaster it you will be stuck with the outcome. Do everything you can to be there while they apply the finish and be a dick about the all the little things.

Your build isnt sitting for weeks on end with nothing happening, seems like everyday there is progress, simply boggles my mind. We just came up on our two year anniversary of our backyard project, granted it was retaining walls, a casita, a gazebo / kitchen etc., but still, there was so much time that went by that nothing happened, waiting for this, waiting on that, waiting on the city, etc., etc.

So far, Brian , owner of Desert Storm Pools is on his shit. He is out to make a statement. He says water by Halloween.
He opened 8/1. I am pool #7 with his new company. I was apprehensive, but that worry is gone now.

I thought the same thing and then wala, it looks like a pool. This build is coming right along. Credit to the new kid on the block. Maybe his pricing is more affordable than the other bandits in Havasu right now. We just had friends get estimates from 3 builders and they were 2X more than we paid for ours 4 years ago for darn near the same thing.

I have spoke with ZX14 through PM. With the proposed budget and speed plus the 4' travertine deck I am sold. I really hope these guys can do my pool next year. Never seen a build thread in Havasu updated so much!

Ya, I’m full time. Brian has been here every step of the way, I had to run to Vegas today, and that new concrete has to be watered, he has come by and handled that.
