It’s been 40 years since I’ve seen a pool tournament on TV. I think it was on TV after the Saturday morning cartoons.

ESPN used to have some pool tournaments on tv.

Derby City Classic has been going since 1997, I haven't watched in a few year but they used to live stream some of the "side rooms" with large gambling matches. 10s to 100s of thousands per match.
