This is a 'cut & paste' that I took off another website.
Not sure of any validity or where He got his info.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

"It was announced today that a deal was signed that makes In & Out Burger the Title Sponsor for Pomona Races, as well as the presenting sponsor for the season ending world finals !
Part of the deal extends the lease of the dragstrip through 2033, putting an end to all the rumors about the Fairplex going away. Also it looks like they are going to have a 75th anniversary stand alone event at the end of next year with a car show, drag race, and bands performing".

It’s been in the works for a while. As a sponsor of the track ourselves they’ve been discussing for some time. It’s pretty exciting news as it gives a new opportunity for more racing from an organization that is a big supporter of drag racing and knows how to bring spectators.

We’re all pretty excited 👍🏼

They need street outlaws style stuff there not just NHRA
I believe the issue still remains that LaVerne successfully limited the number of days the track can be used to next to nothing per year. Fontucky was able to fill every weekend, Pomona could do the same, and yes, any Radial vs. the world, No Prep King, Lights out, style event could pack the crowds, but its just not permitted believe still.

You can bet I'll be there for this!

In-N-Out planning 'giant shindig' next year in Pomona for 75th anniversary celebration

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- In-N-Out is putting on a "giant shindig" next year in Pomona to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

Harry and Esther Snyder opened the first In-N-Out location in Baldwin Park in 1948. Since then, the chain has grown to hundreds of locations stretching from California to Colorado and Texas.

Now based in Irvine, the company is preparing a year ahead of time to mark its 75th anniversary. A new video promotes the event.

It will be held on Oct. 22, 2023 at the soon-to-be-named In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. The video announced the renaming of the drag strip at the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona by next year.

In-N-Out's president Lynsi Snyder - the grandchild of Harry and Esther - says the Pomona racetrack is nostalgic for her, as she would go there to watch her dad race. She says having the event at the racetrack fits with In-N-Out's culture.

The event will include drag racing, a car show, live entertainment, rides, food, drinks and the In-N-Out cookout trucks.

I maybe wrong in saying this, but you will never see any other drag racing events held at Pomona other that the NHRA Winternationals (now held in the Spring) and the NHRA Finals. I think the only race other than an NHRA event that would be able to pull off an event at Pomona would be a Street Outlaws NPK event and that would be because Discovery Channel could flex their Hollywood muscle and get it done.
