The question becomes….
Regarding the quality of the Pro R Factory build….
Is it truly what the professionals are building… same wall tubing.... same everthing….

If its not, then you should build your own….

If its is, then it may be worth it.

Probably built by Craig Scanlon's team at the Polaris Factory shop as a copy of the factory race cars.

The price is fair, but the maintenance to be competitive will eat you alive

Hopefully it works out better than the last advertised “Race Ready UTV”.
This one is actually proven to win.

Price is really fair!

Brand new race car build for the class that these are built to.

45k new car
15k cage
10k for race parts
10k for interior
5k in lights and safety

Total 85k I might be on the soft side too.

What I don’t know is if this a really a full tube chassis car or stock pro r frame then built into the race chassis?

Price seems high to me…

-Looks like stock arms front and rear
-doesn’t include Light, Radio, or Navigation
-carbon fiber body panels are cool but seems like a waste considering the factory plastic pieces are pretty light and can be cut to fit over flat aluminum or CF panels.
-seems like they’re including the cost of a new car in the price($45k + $95k for all of the work). But you’re not ever getting the factory chassis, wiring or electronics.

I think for $100k you could have someone else build an equal/better car.

These are 100% proven winning race cars not a stock car with race parts. This is a legit race car that the factory is building in different number of batches. Brock heger just won Dakar in these same cars. the top SXS race cars right now are ranging from 100-175k so these are priced right for someone that has the money to jump into a car thats proven and has the bugs figured out.

Let me toss an idea into this conversation for consideration.

I think this is a tremendous value for an aspiring Baja 1000 tourist.

If you and your fairly financially stable buddies have ever dreamed of racing the Baja 1000, this seems no better way to achieve that bucket list item.

Find three freinds, who have some experience and there own UTV, maybe a decent truck and a few good friends who like adventure tacos, and Mexican beer.

Each of 4 "Drivers" Put's $35K into the pot. You buy this in Montana so there is no sales tax.
Each Driver is responsible for a co driver, their own pre runner, their own crew, truck and tools.
NO One Drives the car until the green flag drops with exception of a shock tuning session and make sure it is prepped correctly.

Split the Baja 1000 into 4 sections, you get at least 200 miles of getting your ass kicked.

Finish Baja 1000, eat tacos, drink beer, get the finisher pin and make memories.

Drag race car home, clean it up and sell it for $75-$100K split money four ways.

Repeat as many times as you like.

If you are successful, it cost you about $35K all in for a hell of a memory and a bucket list vacation.

If you put a little more thought into this I bet you could get that cost down by using a pit support service, and maybe back fill some costs with some sponsor dollars.
I also bet you could get creative with financing and tax evasion. If you want to skip pre-running you could further drive down costs. I bet this could get pretty attractive.
