Case XX
Mine is named heeler III, I broke my first and lost my second in LV.I have that exact same Spyderco Police. It’s lost in my house or garage though
I keep one of these and a SOG multitool in the door of my pickup.Honorable mention.. Might have to get one of these.
If it's good enough to kill a Grizzly bear attacking you it's good enough for me. Google that story if you have time, it's wild.Honorable mention.. Might have to get one of these.
I've read that, it's a great story. He even went back for his rifle and gear after the doctor. If it's good enough to kill a Grizzly bear attacking you it's good enough for me. Google that story if you have time, it's wild.
Couldn't wait until you got off the shitter for a picture?
Lansky sharpening kit. It works great on a non-serrated blade when I don't use a whetstone. I've never resharpened a serrated edge or needed to.What are you boys doing to keep these knives sharp?
Is there some solid sharpening tool?
I would like that, but a tanto blade.Kershaw Shallot for the last 7 or 8 years. Liked it so much I bought 4 or 5 since it's now discontinued. Sent the first one in to have it sharpened 2 weeks ago, now carrying #2.

It's a Ken Onion designed blade...I don't think he did any Tanto's while a Kershaw (could be wrong). I like the longer blade length of this knife...3.75" is much more useable than the 2.75" - 3.25" blades which are much more common.I would like that, but a tanto blade.
They made them both smooth and have serrated. I have 2 or 3 of each. I think I paid $69 for the first one and over $100 for the next 2. Found a guy at a gun show that had 2 factory recons for $50 each a few years back.2nd this but half serrated.
This is my favorite knife ever. I bought one and carried it for 5+ years every day for work. I clipped it in my pocket every morning but one day it just wasn't there at the end of the day. Went to buy a second and found it was discontinued. It was a $60ish knife but I loved it so I started buying them on eBay. I bought about 5 on eBay but stopped when they started going for over $150.
I live 30 minutes from the Spyderco HQ and outlet. I'll swing by if I'm in the area and they clean, sharpen, adjust and replace parts if needed for free. I'm in and out in 10min.What are you boys doing to keep these knives sharp?

Have the same Buck in black and i agree its sharp as shit. I actually find myself carrying it more than some of my other knifes. The Buck is in the door of my truck. The Browning I carry in my RZR. The Buck is ridiculously sharp.

BaldeHQ is decent however I have been buying from https://www.knivesplus.com lately I like their "Make it shave?" option.I like bladehq for knifes
I thought we are boycotting Benchmade?? I keep forgetting what brands I am not supposed to buy...lol
My EDC is a CRKT Ripple. Love the feel of all metal frames. CRKT makes excellent quality knives. Not cheap thoughi have two CRKT EDC knives full metal frames that are slim and fit the pocket nicely. the newest one is the jettison model i really like this one
In my pocket everyday since 1988
Ken is a close family friend, spent a lot of time at his house watching him make prototypes for the opening mechanism as a kid/teen. My FIL's company did the solar on his house as well lol. I have a handful of his garage made stuff, the knife I cut our prime rib with on thanksgiving was made by him and given to me as a gift by my uncle years ago. It's a Ken Onion designed blade...I don't think he did any Tanto's while a Kershaw (could be wrong).
