Pizza Havasu

There’s been lots of prior posts about Pizza in Havasu. Some may recall when the guy who owned Ken’s Pizza was killed while riding in Phoenix. His wife survived, but spent considerable time in the hospital. Their excellent employees in Havasu kept Ken’s Pizza operating. The wife did recover. But, we just learned, Ken’s Pizza has recently been purchased by another Havasu family owned business, The Burrito Shack. The Ken’s employee we spoke with said, the new owners are great. Our delivered pizza was very good. For us, Ken’s remains among the best pizza in Havasu.

We’re not pizza snobs. But here’s our daughter’s recent family pizza in Brooklyn. There is a difference. Lucali’s was full up. So they went to Guisapena’s, the brother of Lucali’s. She said it was almost as good as Lucali’s. But, unlike Lucali’s, it was not BYOB, with no corkage.

Love Ken’s Pizza.

When we bought a place in Havasu in 2023. Called in a pizza order and they still had our info on the books. At that time, we hadn’t been to Havasu or ordered pizza from them in probably 15 years or more.
