That was cool. Thanks. 22 guys on an F1 pitstop now. Not 4. And they’re under 2 seconds for four tires. No refueling anymore. Too many fires.

And I’m not sure of the years, but I guess 1955 to 1964 the Indy 500 was also a points paying F1 event.

Between 1998 and 2004, IndyCar mandated a 35 gallon fuel cell. The best pitstops my team performed were around 13.5 seconds. Now the fuel cell capacity is just 18.5 gallons. With the smaller fuel cells, a fast stop is about 7.5 seconds.

That's slow...Red Bull is able to do sub two secs some races.... crazy the level of tech!
