I would like to see the design of these concrete "piers" below the water line. They just look like if one of these bad boys came in a bit too hot the pier would just lay over?
Supposedly the two largest cruise ships out there, parked side by side. That pier just doesnt seem sufficient?

I look at that and say "Never gonna get anywhere near those Disney wannabe floating POS"
Way to many people to be enjoyable for me.

and yes, one draw of the tide in either direction should break that concrete toothpick of a pier right away

Because they are the strongest of all options? :)
Because Rams are too light and Chevy's float. Serious about the Chevy's floating. Watched a CC/LB dually float for 30 minutes at Buckskin years ago.

I will bite, my employers yard notified me my 2021 F150 extra cab work truck has several serious recall notices and I need to get it to a dealer for ASAP. First off, I'm thinking it's your truck, you got the notice...you schedule it, come pick it up, give me a loaner and let me know when it's done. Anyway, pulled the registration to look up the VIN on Fords site to see what the notices were and the truck weighs about 4900 pounds. Extra cab 4x4, tow package, lots of options. Seems really light to me, I would bet that a Dodge or GM half ton weights substantially more.

As for the docks, they are in the ocean and I don't see really tall pilings sticking above the walking surface. The dock has to be secured to the bottom with cables...no other way to deal with tidal elevation influence.
