Model name 32XCC by SmartMarine is the same race hull bottom that Chris builds and will be racing in 2017, but everything else about this CC has been designed for the go-fast CC market.
The first one will be powered by twin 400R motors and I heard will be going to the Bahamas

Hey Shue,

there are no benchmark numbers yet. Hopefully soon. The very next 400R is model name 32XPR Poker Run is having its windshield fitted.

The very beginning of a great cat. The epoxy primer and hardener have been applied. The next step in the build is the application of the skin coat...most probably will continue on the early part of this week. Just a note on the lamination schedule, there are no wood parts in the laminates. All composite laminates are used throughout

lightweight core materials being used in the laminates. The deck has been epoxy primed black; similar to the hull.





The resin infusion prep is complete and the resin infusion process about to begin.




The resin infusion well under way. The darker areas have been impregnated with resin. The yellow areas will eventually absorb the resin






Complete saturation of the resin with the excess resin being removed from the laminates

Click the image below to see the video of the resin infusion process. The port and Stbd sponsons are infused first, then the tunnel. You'll see the guys pouring in the resin throughout the infusion process. It may seem like a lot of resin is used but on the contrary, resin infusion uses less resin than open mold layup.
