The guy who didn't take the test? Even when he gets back to shore/Needles and has to take the test and is under the limit then. Will it matter? Or is he considered DUI?

I watched it last night.....

I have a new respect for the officers out there. The drunk 19 year olds on the rental tooner were about as scary as it gets. 2.5 BAC annd the 3rd time (I think the first) he had ever driven a boat.

I couldn't believe there wasn't anyone sober and over 21. I think those officers saved some live3s by getting that train wreck off the water:thumbsup

I also now remember why I don't go to the Sand Bar and Copper Canyon.

Taze one standing in the water, and I'm not 100% sure, but I think ya Taze them all don't ya? LOL.. I'm amazed that, that whole program went down like it did.. They have ass swamped the cop boat with 2 many people, and he was just sitting there yelling at them. He had zero control of that situation, and I'll tell ya just as a normal captain of a boat, I have more control over my rig, the people in my rig, and in this case the people around my rig then that. he should've busted out the bullhorn at a minimum. Or fired an airhorn for a second or two, Drunks respond well to loud noises.

Is it just me or am I the only one that's gotten pulled over by the San Bernadino coppers and read the RIOT ACT about how unaccessible my PFD's are etc.. becuase they were in the ski lockers and under seats. The sad thing is I'm about 90% the guy that read me the riot act down at the southern sandbar in Parker is the same guy that couldn't find a throwable on the cop boat.. and ended up throwing him a normal life jacket. Those guys told me if they saw me again, and I didn't have my life jackets on the floor for everybody they were gonna impound my boat etc.. Guess it's do as I say? Not as I do?

And you don't think they woudl've handled these situations any different if a TV camera wasn't on them? I'll tell ya what, with the exception of a couple of Alan's guys.. LOL Everytime I get pulled over, I'm way cooler, more cooperative, and way the hell more respectful to the cops then these dipshits on TV were, and it rarely goes that smooth.

DUI.. AZ law says something about drunk 2 hours previous, or after driving a vehicle.. (Although I'm not sure about how the after works? LOL)


I like the show as a weekender, but I gotta say this is really not doing the Havasu image any favors.. and I expect it'll attract more gang members, and low lives to Havasu again.

It would be tough with or without the cameras and 110+degrees to not get pissed off and lose your cool though. If the camera wasn't on I'm sure one or two of those guys would have a few monkey bumps on their head
