Still remember the sundance guy in pic from 30 years ago, he would hop around on stage like a little rabbit dry humping all the chicks in wet t-shirt contest on stage, it was classic Sundance. We still laugh about it when we talk about old times. He did pick us up once on the double deck boats about 35 years ago loaded with topless chicks and boones farm, for that i will always be grateful.

Great pics wheeler! In one of them there is a bunch of green stuff in the water. What is that?

It is a dye that rescue divers use to mark their location. The parker sandbar last memorial day had a ton of it in the water.

I hate that shit, I'm afraid it's going to stain my interior if people get in with that shit in the water

The new course makes it impossible to float without getting stuck on side. Was more of a boat float as you need power to maneuver out of the bends in the River. I would say half the people compared to 2 years ago.

The old route you could almost walk across the river. So many people and floats.

Yup, sure seems like a lot of propellers for a tube float. [emoji107]

Green and white? Talked to one of the owners at the sandbar. Bad ass boat but $300k to order a new one is nuts.
Yes. His family owns RJ Noble...huge asphalt company...that was literally his spare change to buy it.

At one point in time, Marina Village was called Carverville. :D

If you have the time read up on RJ Noble and see how Mike came to own it. Mike started as a Gardner. o_O

Kenny C. also owns an asphalt co. in the oc.

Price they paid seemed fair to me compared to new. Told us a little history about Pavatti. One of the guys with me was stoked to talk to him about it. He knows all about the new wake boats and wanted to get a tow behind it. They hooked my crew up with jello shots as well. Good People.

I was thrown off as to how dead it was when we drove into town on Friday night. The entire town including Walmart was a complete ghost town. Didn't partake in any of the festivities this year but ended up having a bad ass time down in big river.

From what they posted on FB the shuttles had a unexpected inspection which slowed them down 2 hours. Problem was only 8 shuttles that could hold at most 96 people per trip to Bucks in. You expect 6-8000 how could that ever work. Many posted after waiting 2-4 hours for a shuttle they left.

Imagine after the cluster F last year with personal vehicles trying to get to Buckskin most did not return this year. Now having to take a shuttle just made it worse. The course change ruined the float like most wanted it to.

The numbers I heard were down to 3000 this year. I recall 8000 few years back.

Austin has told me the story before. Ran into Kenny on Friday night...he's always a kick in the ass.

They are all cool people...Pavatti is a cool story...aluminum fishing boats and now these things and they are insane to say the least.

The Carvers are good people. I've got 5 of 'em for neighbors and never a problem.

When it comes to Kenny ...I'm not so sure about that guy. :D
