This is what I see!
I live in the land of wakeboard / competition boats - Canyon Lake, CA and they did outlaw all surf ballast, weight restrictions (5,000 lbs. dry), and a maximum length of 21’6” on the boats. This eliminated the larger wake board / surf boats. The sea walls and docks on the main lake were getting destroyed by the wakes. I’ve owned a few wakeboard boats too, but a small lake or Parker is not the place for wake surfing. I always cring when I'm at my Parker house and see one of these wave tractors.Sounds like Canyon Lake.. I’ll stick with Havasu as is. I don’t have a problem with go fast boats and can avoid lake lice
What's up B. I remember you posting pics of docks that broke off due to the wave tractors floating past your place. The last time we were on the Strip a couple summers ago right before R.R. closed down,we were tied up on the dock getting some drinks and swag from the out store and this ASSCLOWN TRACTOR CAPTAIN plowed about 30/40' off the dock full ballast.Last evening some idiot put a wave over my dock, absolutely no reason for him to be that close to the dock as he was the only boat on the water in the area.
The damage that has occurred not only to my dock, but my concrete launch ramp as well is ridiculous.
I understand that in Australia they have been banned on at least two of the rivers there. I knew it was in the works on the Murray River where I have stayed in the past, so happy they got that resolved. The reasoning was it was damaging river banks, which can be evidenced by my launch ramp and sea wall.
Exactly. Normally I try the polite approach and try to talk to them and explain that the center is deeper and makes a better wave, and does not do as much damage. Many of them seem to be "new", and are grateful for a softer approach, but there are always the ones that think it's better to flip me off. I may invite the sheriff to come part on my boat so they can cite them for standing on the swim step underway, or even the night surfing they do.What's up B. the waves slammed our boat into and then bounced my boat up on the dock edge putting a 4 ft gash in the bottom of my boat. I yelled at the ASSCLOWN and he actually flipped me off SO I just happen to have an unopened water bottle in my hand which I threw as hard as I could and striking him dead center on the back. he wouldn't come back to square off with me. cost me $1,000 to repair my boat.
so needless to say I don't think I need to express my feeling about wakesurf boats and the destruction they leave

hate to go off track here... but.. aren't the bass boats tanks subject to inspection? I have heard stories of ice boxes being inspectedAs far as the inspection goes they check everything but the tanks.

They should stay in Pacoima where they belong! What about those who don't live near the ocean ?
The cost of a wake tractor would cover a ton of flights and hotel rooms at the beach!!What about those who don't live near the ocean ?
Or push the easy button and fly to Waco TX and many other random places, where it's good every time the wave park is open . Seriously way more fun than flailing behind an endless boring boat wake rollerThe cost of a wake tractor would cover a ton of flights and hotel rooms at the beach!!
