I thought it was already underway going thru there yesterday. The water looked like it was down 5’ or 6’ around 2pm

It has been pretty normal for this time of year. Down about 6" to 10" from normal on my dock. Still been pretty high at night.

That's good news.
Another semi-related question . . . what month(s) 'generally' do they start pulling water for the farmers?
Obviously in the spring . . . but I've never really payed that close attention to the actual time frame.
Looking at the this I'd guess April-ish? . . .

Farm Irrigation is a year round thing for Parker. Every Thursday you’ll notice the lower river much lower than the rest of the week. It’s when the farmers pull their weekly allotment.

The primary reason for the annual draw-down is to allow maintenance on CRIT's irrigation canals. There are plans to do major improvements to the canal system in the near future, which would make anything they do now, redundant. CRIT is going to be leasing some of their Colorado River water rights for the funding to revamp the canals. Anything they do right now would just be a waste of money that can be used for other things, or earmarked for the later project(s).

Any time there's significant rain in the area, the farms need less water, so they hold back water to maximize supply in storage.
