I'm wondering the same thing I have not been to any at the pirate. I'm guessing you can watch from there and that's where all the bustle will be but any other good spots?

You can watch from La Paz Park or Pirate’s some of the Snowbirds in the spots are cool with people setting up in front of their $$$$ rigs and some are not!

You won’t see the drags from there. The launch at pirates. Stage in front of pirates and race up river towards roadrunner.

the finish line is way downriver from Roadrunner, too. As others have said, the starting line is right in front of the Pirates outdoor patio and The race is over by the time you reach Lapaz.

Bummer that the course won't make it up to Sandbar. I guess we'll just head for the bar at Pirates then. I'm sure there will be plenty of room for us to watch the action from there.
