Would you turn in your kid?
I shure as hell would after I beat their ass real good.

Several arrests have been made in connection with flash-mob style robberies at 7-Eleven locations in Los Angeles after parents of some of the “youthful male” perpetrators spotted their kids in surveillance footage released by police.

my parents would have turned me in for sure. One time me and some racing buddies were driving pretty fast and stupid down Beach Blvd late at night. We ended up getting pulled over and taken out of the cars. They didn't catch us in the act but people had called in on us and we were in very distinct cars so thats how they got us. When we were sitting there they called our parents and my dad told them "If he was being a dumbass take him in and he can deal with it on his own" Since they didn't catch us in the act they really couldn't do much and let us go. Holy shit was I in trouble when I got home lol

Well, if my kid somehow managed to get involved in something like this after being raised better than that.... Yep! Dumb shit deserves to be in jail. However, I can say with almost 100% certainty, my kids would not be a part of this kind of shit.

I would have been begging for jail after my dad finished with me, that said because of the fear of repercussion from my dad I wouldn't have done that in the first place. My parents were not my friends when I was growing up, they were my parents, as an adult they are now my friends.

I took something from the grocery store when I was preteen, my mom took me back to the store and made me tell the manager what I did. She would have no problem turning me in. My kids need to be responsible for their actions as well. I would take them back to the store also.

100% this. I would be safer in jail than my dad finding out.

I’d be praying the police took me away after as opposed to my father catching up to me and beating my ass, then now Day is having my father go to jail too.

Let’s be honest. They only got turned in because they didn’t bring home mom and dad any 7/11 reparations.

I stole a magazine from a grocery when I was 13. The manager hauled me in and asked my name and phone number.
Then says, you have one chance. If this number is not correct. I’m calling the police.
So I’m sitting there thinking about I would rather deal with the Police than the Hell that was about to come down on me at home. The look of disappointment on their faces whem
They picked me up was terrifying. Got an ass whooping and 2 week suspension.
One of the best things that happened ro me as a teen. They had no idea I was drifting.
We chuckled about it together later in life, my parents and I.

Parenting used to be different. Even with other people's kids.

Four of my high school friends got hauled in one night for shooting a pressure water fire extinguisher into a cop car. Then they got stuck at the next red light. The next part was told to me by one of them.

😁

Guy named Larry Buynak was the squirter. Parents were called, the first to show up was Jim's dad, and Mr Mangham was a gruff no nonsense sonofabitch. He walked into a room where everyone was standing with a Sergeant glaring at them. Mr M says "Which one of you dumbasses sprayed that officer?" Larry meekly says "Me."

Mr M walked over and knocked Larry on his ass with an open hand. He looked over at the Sergeant and says "Are we good?" Sergeant said "Yessir," and let them go.

@playdeep will get a laugh out of this.
