Our new lab pups have been born

Been wanting another yellow lab for years. I have had three over my life and been bugging my wife to get another one. We did a bunch of research and found a breeder in Utah that we like and that breeds the English style of labs, shorter, stocky, block heads, etc.

The pups were born on September 8th and we will going to get ours around Halloween. We get first pick of these four males.

They look great! We have always had labs as well growing up. I have juts 1 yellow male now.

That’s awesome! You have to love the working breeds.
We’re in a similar situation with a Doberman pup at the moment, and the bitch is in heat! Excited!!

I have a 7 year old yellow. I was there the night he was born and helped birth the entire litter. They are great dogs.

I however grew up with a beautiful Boxer, my best friend.
Erika has never had a dog in her life.
She so wants a dog.
I'm on the line with her wants as we have a double yellow head amazon parrot.
I don't want Lucy to be possibly traumatized.
She can be a handful sometimes.
As much as I love dogs I will never have a dog on my boat as I have too much invested in upholstery and gell coat.
We shall see.

My 6 month old is an absolute nightmare. High strung as they come. I wanted to get a female because they are usually better tempered and easier to work with, but we ended up with a male.

He was scared of everything, now he is getting very protective, I mean hair standing up on the back of his neck protective. The mailman wouldn't get out of the car yesterday. He had to honk the horn so we would come outside.

He will as of this weekend get in the pool and fetch a training duck. We couldn't get him in the pool before unless I threw him in. Wanted him to get used to the steps and where they are, in case he ever finds his way in the pool and no one is home. We have that down pat now.

She has a torn ACL, going blind, walking backwards for zero reason but sure as shit won't die.

no, i went with the place in Utah on a recommendation from the breeder that we used for our previous labs, she had retired, and recommended them

Have a yellow lab named Hunter. Ironically, he failed hunting school at starlight in Norco. But, he is a loving and calm dog. Great with kids. We thought he was mute because he didn’t bark the first year or two at all.

Labs are great. Those guys are really white. I think they might be the smartest of the colors.

Eustace and Ruby are litter mates. 2 in January. A handful for sure.

I have owned dogs pretty much my entire life..
She may be the best dog I will ever have..

Sweetheart to the family, but uncharacteristicly a great guard dog at night.
