Has not plead and is finally going to trial December 3 in Kingman. Sounds like at least 15 will testify against him. Any judgment that proves fraud of $100k this guy is doing time. Multiple counts he is in a shit load of hurt. TBD

Good thing this occurred in AZ and not CA otherwise he'd likely copped a deal for time served or some bs. Hopefully AZ throws the book at him.

If it happened in Cali they would determine it to be non violent crimes, and order all his victims to author apology letters for attempting to get their money back. Which ever department actually put the cuffs on him would have already payed him millions for his troubles.

I'd be shocked if he got more than a few years...These types of shitbags always seem to get off with little punishment.

Even if he only got a few years the restitution order hanging over his head for the rest of time will make his golden years a nightmare.
Hopefully those he owes will dog him forever and take every available penny they can.
Soup kitchens and begging relatives and girlfriends for money will not be fun. He certainly doesn't deserve better.

He will work for cash under the table and maintain the status with- he has nothing !!

I hope is day / week in court is true justice and he gets what he deserves!

Getting ripped of by a scammer just sucks!

OK, "has not plead" is confusing.. He must have plead not guilty in order to get a trial date set. Do you mean has not plead GUILTY, so a Dec trial date has been set?? Note: Any restitution ordered by the court becomes unenforceable once the Courts jurisdiction transfers to the prison and then to the parole board.. While on court ordered probation, the probation dept. oversees the restitution, once he goes to prison he is no longer on probation as probation is ordered in lieu of prison... Once paroled, the parole board will tell those owed money to sue him in civil court because, and I quote "we are not a collection agency".. This is exactly what happened to me, and the restitution was only $2500....So, unless I want to go to court to try to get a judgement against the defendant, I can pound sand...Same will happen in this case if he goes to prison and then is paroled...
Just FYI,
Ray

To where with what?
If he flees it will be with a bullet to his head in a seedy hotel room. Alone.
Even if he only has pennies he could “try” to disappear. Rats like him have a way of scurrying away. We should get a pool going.

Pretty much, If he was going to flee to Mexico or somewhere he would have done it by now.

He thinks he's innocent, so why not go to court?

That's easy, grow a beard and mingle in with the rest of the homeless in CA, then the taxpayers can support him.

At BAR we got a guy sentenced to three years for ripping off five people for a grand total of about 15K in auto repair.

I understand the 29 or so charges amount to around $1 million. This was also happening before he moved to Havasu. He has plead not guilty but can change his mind before. I'm thinking once they see the list of defendants testifying he might think twice. Would like to know what the plea deal is on the table. I know it has been offered. The asst DA is ready to go I know for a fact.

Not sure if this DDA will comply, but they usually run any deals past the victims before following through in court...Then the judge can also refuse to honor the deal if he feels it is not in the interest of justice, (in his mind)....
