Oroville Lake/Town

So what can you tell me about it. Thinking of going sometime in Sept. Boating, Lodging a little drinking. What is it like?

alot of speed freaks in oroville. the lake is killer but head 10 miles north to Chico for a much better party time. the KITTY KITTY are all over there. :champagne::boobeyes:

I don't think the lake filled up last spring, the 2 or 3 times we've been on it the wind sort of ruined it. Feather Falls is a pretty sight to see up in the river.
Oroville ain't exactly what I'd call a party town, but Chico used to be.
If I was driving from any direction over 3 or 4 hours i'd push on to Shasta and do my partying on the lake.

the lake should be up about 75% we clean'd a house boat 2 weeks ago on oroville and the water was warm.

I did forget that, the water is always a pleasant temp in the summer.
