You know, I've found so many things on this site over the years just through the normal course of us chit chatting about various topics. I figured maybe someone could point to an olive oil dispenser that doesn't end up leaving a ring every time you set it down. We set it on a little trivet to keep from making a mess, but I gotta think there's one that just doesn't seep. I've tried several over the years, so whatcha got?

I didn't know this was an issue. Interesting. I just have a pourer inserted into the original glass bottle. I've thought about getting one, but I'm holding out for purchasing a vinegar and olive oil set when we go to Italy later this year.

The Tuscan flavored oil oil and balsamic is the bomb. But I got that in Park City, not Italy.

I've tried holding the bottle with a paper towel and wiping after every use. Lets just say I'm not the only one using it and if the other person isn't on board, it doesn't help much.

I tried this oil sprayer and it's been great.
I don't use the aerosal spray oils anymore.
.
For regular oil I just use the ketchup style dispensers
.
So that was my latest attempt, and I really like being able to squirt it out. But, it leaks around the screw on lid. I cleaned the crap out of it and cranked it down tight and it still leaked. UGH

I never have a bottle around long enough for it to leak!

Maybe you should actually use it instead of just looking at it, and waiting for it to leak?

🤷‍♂️😜

I use about a tablespoon a day tops. Just enough to lube the pan. Maybe I should do like my Italian father-in-law and use it like lotion too.

I use this for my Canola oil. The olive oil just stays in the original container.

Neither of them leak. 🤷‍♂️

I use a plastic squirt bottle like they use in restaurant kitchens. Ugly as hell and caked with oil.

Wife gets her oils from the little shop next door to Harbor Freight in Havasu. They sell the little tips that you just plug into where the lid would go. No mess here she’s used them a few years now.

Ok, so I actually saw a solution for the original post problem of wanting a leak free oil dispenser.

Saw a video recently where a guy was using the Heinz Ketchup squeeze bottles with the no drip squeeze cap

And in my kitchen the Dawn dish soap EZ-Squeeze looks very similar

Some of you guys need to try some oil from Italy, Lebanon or Palestine (No politics) It’s usually unfiltered, first or cold pressed. There’s a big difference than the olive oil from Costco. Don’t let it sit out on counters as light and temperature can degrade it. Dark, cold place for storage.

In regards to storage- everything I try seeps eventually. I just put a paper towel under it.

We just got this sprayer from Amazon. We love it so far but it's only been a couple weeks of use.

Paso Robles has a bunch of boutique olive oil makers up there. Some incredible olive oils. I love it when I find a good garlic infused oil. It is THE BEST on sandwiches.

Or just dipping bread in it.

Um, is nobody else going to comment on the big black..... to the right?
That is an atlas pepper mill

You are not the only one who has noticed it's "rocket" shape 😂

It was given to me like 20 years ago. Apparently they are pricey ?
