I know he screwed a lot of people, but white collar crime never gets the time they deserve, so guilty on one count 4..5 isn't bad, hope he does at least half or all.

I have not heard anything on this. As of a couple weeks ago sentencing wasn't until July 16th

The Change of Plea Hearing however, did occur and the Defendant plead guilty pursuant to the plea offer. The Judge accepted the Plea, Ordered the Probation Department to complete a Pre-Sentence Investigation Report and set the Judgment and Sentencing Hearing on July 16, 2020 at 1:30 pm.

It’s our justice system and a jury of your peers. Tough to get someone on the lower economic level to side with anyone that has expendable income.

We don’t have to like it but we have to support it with the way our justice system is designed.

I sat on a third strike jury 20 years ago. Guy was guilty as the day is long. They had him on video, he admitted to the crime, and caught in the act by police.

A lone juror didn’t believe in the three strikes law. Everyone else was beside themselves and argued with her for three days at how asinine she was being.

He knew his odds and inevitably walked.

How the hell does that happen? Standard instructions from the judge are the charges and asks jurors if they agree with the law and can convict or acquit based on evidence. If not, they're dismissed.

Jeezus.
