Oil??

I have a 1983 BBC all stock except for a new manifold and MSD ignition. What type of oil do you guys run in yours? I max out at 5100 rpm. Should I run synthetic and what weight?

I have tried all conventional oils, Royal Purple
20/50 runs cooler by 80 degrees. I think it is the shit! Tranny fluid in my cobra made it feel like a new
