Does anyone have a good executive office chair recommendation? “Big and tall” not required but it seems most are. I’d like to stay below $400.

This La-Z-Boy seemed nice but reviews are showing the quality has gone down hill.

I just left LA Z Boy. Going back Wednesday. If you buy Wednesday free delivery and 30% off. They will even finance for 0% for 36 months with 30% down on stock items and 50% down on custom.

I have been shopping couches and the Trouper in leather is my leading choice by far. Along with the matching recliner.

My next door neighbor has had some quality issues. She has had 4 of the same chairs delivered and returned. Not recliners but a odd looking chair. They can't get the seems perfect. The delivery guy said the new guys doing upholstery have gone down hill. She is also super picky but I could see it when I looked at it.

Third lazboy recliner in 34 years. 1st one wore out. 2nd one went out with a crack. When your 3&5 years old boys become 18&20 and still jump on like they were 3&5, well you can't blame the chair.

I’ve got a Serta office chair and it’s pretty amazing. It’s got lumbar support that retracts as you recline. Super comfy

I bought a HON Lota chair from Amazon nearly 6 years ago for $185. Still looks like new (I sit in it M-F all day). Except for my Grandpa’s 1968 Stratolounger recliner, this HON is the most comfortable chair in the house. Prices have gone up like everything else, but take a look at HON brand.

Good chairs are $1000+ good news for you is that they can be had for pennys on the dollar in the secondary market. Herman Miller stuff is quality, check for used office furniture places near you, there is a lot of really nice stuff for cheap.

The cheap stuff fails pretty quick.

Jeff has that one and loves it. He bought it a year ago this month.

That's the chair I'm currently in. Have had it for 7 1/2 years. Comfortable and has held up great. Seat is getting a bit soft now, so I'm due for a new one.

This.

Look for a used office furniture store, and find a chair that's adjustable every which way you can think of.

On mine, even the arms are adjustable for height and width. Makes it fit under my desk easily.

Don't cheap out. You'll just be throwing money away. Ask me how I know. 🙄

I have a 30 year old Herman Miller Aeron. All mesh, great chairs, last forever.

I ended up going with a Willmita office chair off of Amazon. The reviews were solid and I liked how it looked. It is also fake leather instead of bonded leather so it shouldn’t flake. Comfort is TBD until I get it broken in.

this is my suggestion too.

You can find some smoking deals on craigslist for lightly used units from all of these offices closing. I picked up a real nice one for $250. One thing worth mentioning for the uninformed. Do a little research, understand what options are available for the chairs, including sizing (A,B,C) and what features the chair has. When you check the chair out, make sure all of the features work.
