This is a three part miniseries from BBC and HBO. The actor who played John Snow in GOT is the lead. Kit Harington's full name is Chistopher Catesby Harington. He is a direct relative on his mother's side to the character he plays Robert Catesby.

It’s Guy Fawkes.
The ultimate rebel, patriot, or domestic terrorist depending on one’s position.
Those not familiar with Fawkes know the mask as the “Anonymous” mask.
It represents protest of the government, the status quo, and the powers that be.
Or even martyrdom to some.

Google "Gunpowder Rebellion" if you want to learn more. A group of Catholics tried to blow up parliament in the early 1600's, Guy Fawkes was one of the leaders of the group.
