Not deer season

At home in Colorado. Herd of about 20 daughter said. Pups are content to watch from the house, which is a good thing with those 2 big bucks. They might take offense lol.

My uncle still nocking them dead at 70.

Getting the deer running across the property daily now. Set up game cameras just to see and get an idea how many come thru. Last couple of days in particular there has been a lot of traffic.....day and night time. The pups of course run them away when seen.

Still don't have anywhere near the wildlife that I used to catch on the cameras out in the N Scottsdale area. That was a regular wild animal freeway.....lol

One of our old dogs would spend hours looking out the back door of my Grandparents place when we would visit Colorado... Waiting for the biggest rabbits* she had ever seen.

I had a good season this year in Oklahoma. Deer hunting is something ingrained into my DNA. Been killing deer since I was a 5th grader.

Lot of Deer and Elk around that place. Mike has had mountain lions at his place down the road. Been a lot of mountain lions in town Dolores lately on game cams and cameras. Always bears.

Taken the day before my grandpa's funeral... One of the biggest Mulie bucks I've seen.

Just had some chili made from one of those bucks pictured for lunch! I have a decent stockpile in the freezer this year. Made some
Chicago Italian style crock pot deer meat a while back that was damn good.

I didn't know you lived in Dolores. Hearing the name always reminds me of the Galloping Goose.

Actually I live sort of between Dolores and Cortez. Galloping Goose is pretty famous.

Actually my daughter’s house. I built an 800 sq. Ft. Casita behind it. Those are the San Juan’s looking east. Pretty country, but closed to transplants with liberal ideology. lol I wish
