Am I aloud to have an opinion? Lol
It’s no secret I am fan of the brand. I really like it and I’m glad someone pulled the trigger on new vector build. [emoji41]

I would encourage everyone to have an opinion. Seeing it in person at the boat show it was pretty damn nice!

I really liked what they did with the boat, no wood, all composite. The new flooring is nice and they did a nice job modernizing the dash. I think he said it was $125k

Ok I’ve heard 75 now 125. What the hell is it? Lol.

Haven’t seen it in person but the photos look good!

In regards to the composite vs wood. We just replaced our floor last year at the 26ish year mark. And we are in and out of the boat soaking wet. Are people really losing their floors that frequently? I mean under 20 years.

lol... Were the Nordic/Hallett guys trolling everyone at the show?

They told me a completely different number with an 8.2.

Good looking boat. Reminds me of the 19 Spectra with its long deck and nice proportion. Too bad, you didn't do some side and interior shots though.;) While full fiberglass floors isn't new [ my 1990 boat has fiberglass inner liner interior ] this boat should sell well for lakes and rivers. Like the colours, classy.

I would guess in boats that sit out, with ripped tarps are the ones that have issues. When we replaced the tank in our 1989 27 the floor, and teak/holly ply were perfect.

They have the 210 the 240 was turned into the 255z. They have the 270 but not the 300. They have the larger molds as well.

Interesting...Just for the sake of conversation, do they have the 335, 340, and older 400?

Two comments from the peanut gallery.... please clean up the wiring on the steering wheel trim switches and get rid of the vagina at the middle off the rear seat as well as the Palm Springs looking rainbow on the seat back!!

That being said that’s a beautiful boat and I have always wanted one since I was a kid.

Cool looking boat, the kind I'm partial to, small, fast and fun. However, on such an otherwise expensive looking package, the Lenco's aren't doing it for me.
Also and this subject has been discussed here recently, with full hydraulic steering I see they've got three trim buttons on the wheel. Since I see what appears to be Lenco buttons on the dash, these are for the drive trim. The idea being, one of those three should be available regardless of wheel orientation --- but WTF is going on with all the trim button wires hanging off the backside of the wheel ?? Are they waiting for some backing cover ? In the one video of the Vector idling away, it sure appears there's a lot of steering wheel rotations required to get it going straight --- perhaps a great application for a brodie knob --- is this typical of full hydraulic ? Does full hydraulic require this much wheel movement at speed ?

They posted the list of molds on here somewhere when they first bought the company. If I can find the thread I'll cut and paste it later today, but I believe they do have the 335, not sure on the 340, but they do have the 400 with a new bottom.

You are correct.

335, 34 and new 40. Not the Gen 1.

I’m wondering about the buttons on the steering wheel. I have full hydraulic steering on my vector. I couldn’t use trim buttons on the wheel because if you a full hydraulic the steering wheel position is not the same all the time. Changes position when you drive the boat. So I’m guessing not full hydraulic ?

That looks like a CRT hub. You can spin it all the way around as many times as you like. It works off of contacts. No wires to tangle up. GT Marine sells them.

This came up recently in another thread. My Cole has a trim switch in the wheel, system is partial hydraulic, not full. But unlike the CRT rotary trim, my wheel has no exposed wires hanging off the back, but is a full rotary contact system since there's no coiled umbilical cord. I don't recall who made the wheel and or hub.

For full Hyd seems the choices are Foot switches like many outboard tunnels use (I believe RD's Schiada has these as well), one that looks like an add-on turn signal, or the one that looks like a wheel mounted shifter (See pic below). The way the guy is steering the Vector in the video I think it's full hydraulic, but with a switch on each spoke, which I also believe are all redundant and only trim the drive.
The rotary hub identifies it as CRT, but it's sure a rat's nest of visible wires, perhaps not finished yet ? Perhaps using three buttons one will always be within thumbs reach ?
Do all CRT installations look this messy ?

The one below seems to be a good option and I believe the one that Headless Hula is planning on using for his Kryptonite build.

We use this technology with camera heads (gimbles), we call it a slip ring. Just like you said unlimited rotations.
