Nice to see Nordic at the Calgary Boat Show up here in Canada today.
There was a swarm of people around this boat and lots of people talking about it.
Great looking boat, hands down the nicest boat in the Show.

They should have done the Vancouver boat show, more money here and the show lacks performance boats.

Not*A*Chance for that type of boat.
There's a reason that MasterCraft, Nautique and Malibu's biggest worldwide dealers are all in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

This is why Nordic is at the Calgary show.

We are an untapped market here. Most of our lakes you see everything from Nordic to DCB's.

As we all know, Calgary has about one month of real summer, hence most calgarian hot boaters use their boats on Okanagan lakes:). West coast boats are well represented in Kelowna, Armstrong, Sicamus areas. Rob Blair is from Calgary, yet DCB is not represented at this show? Vancouver had great shows showcasing high performance boats in the past, but the interests dried up here. It's yachts for the wealthy only. Vancouver became unaffordable to purchase homes and a fancy toy for most.
Thane of Nordic is from this town [ New West ] and he knows the market I'm sure!

Joe Malich [ Seattle ] was the most successful Fountain dealer on the West Coast. We had our heydays and poker runs with him on the US side. It all gone downhill since the market crash. I'm sure increased fuel prices had something to do with it as well. Now, we only have so called fun runs that draws maybe 15 boats overall.:skull I've met Reggie in Vancouver when he tried setting up dealer network through Blackfish Marine on Granville Island, They haven't sold more than half dozen new boats before pulled out.

And 90% of them are owned by Albertans, as is the property that surrounds the interior lakes

The amount of Canadians (especially from Sask, AB and BC) that have homes in Lake Havasu is amazing.
Seems like every month when we're at our home in Havasu we meet more Canadians.
Performance boating in BC is a joke, the Cops and general public hate our loud/fast boats and I have quit going there along with a huge number of our friends.
Lake Havasu is the best performance boating destination in the West hands down.
