Not sure how I missed this. Looks like a lot of good bands. Sadly the wife would not have enjoyed it. But the lineups will help me put together a playlist on Spotify if there is not one already. Hope everyone had a great time.

Friend of mine from work was going. He’s like an encyclopedia of old school punk.

We sat in traffic on White Avenue for 3-hours just to park. Missed the Adolescents and TSOL.

Then we left the Misfits early to "beat" traffic getting out and it still took 2-hours, and that was at 1:00 a.m.

Golden Voice, the City of Pomona and the Pomona PD completely dropped the ball on traffic control. It was worse than the cluster-fuck evacuation at the Rose Bowl. They corralled everybody into 2 entrances going in, and they did the same getting out. The Pomona fair has insane amounts of parking and entrances/exits - but nope, let's consolidate 6 lanes of traffic into one.

The bands did great, Jello played a song with Agent Orange

Without a doubt, Jacob Nowell and Sublime killed it for the win. If you ever get the opportunity to see Jacob play with them...take it.

Saw A lot of these bands back in my younger days. Still like to listen to them, made a lot of trips to West Hollywood whiskey a go go, Roxy and many others. Those were some good times.

They played Ring of Fire on the first encore.

When they left stage after 2nd encore, I confidently say to my wife, “They are coming back to play their biggest hit, Story of my Life” but instead, the lights came on and concert was over. I felt cheated. lol

Bad Religion was the opening act.

I had lunch with the lead singer from TSOL years ago. My old boss was huge fan. Big music fan in general as he worked for KROQ back with Richard Blade.
Anyway--we were eating at Whole Foods for lunch and this guy walks buy. My boss jumps up and says "your so and so--love your stuff, blah blah." They chat it up for a few and he goes inside. 5 minutes later--he came back with some food to ear and asked if he could sit with us. I think "Hi" were the only words I said the rest of the lunch as those two just chatted it up.
But the guy was super down to earth and a really nice guy with some great stories to tell.

Great show and was as organized as could be for 50k punks . Set times were on spot which made it work great to see 40+ bands. All in all was awesome to see a lot of my fav bands in one place. Everyone had a great time performing from what I hear.
