I got two brackets at 30 bucks a piece. Duke winning one, Tennessee the other.
Last year we had 90 players. I won the whole thing for 800 bucks.
Dude that runs it sends updates after each round. It’s pretty fun.

I think Duke is a solid bet. I chose Duke in most my brackets. Cooper Flagg is legit and I’ll be chasing his big Rookie cards next year.

I filled brackets for camaraderie and to keep in touch with customers but I haven’t watched a single minute of college basketball this season.

Neighbor has a bunch of people over on his driveway for it every year . . . did it last night.
He prints out all the teams / players / divisions and tapes them to his garage door.
Then everyone takes turns doing picks . . . for what I assume is some sort of 'fantasy team' etc.
I know less than zero about any of it . . . but they seem into it.
A few dudes are going to Vegas I guess for it as well.

I'll be watching the 2025 Bassmaster Classic this weekend at Ray Roberts Lake near Fort Worth TX . . . . that's more my jam. 🎣

FS1 is going to have it.
I think it'll be on Roku as well . . . (maybe not the same coverage as FS1).
They also run live feeds on Bassmaster.com throughout the days competition.

Day 1 Friday has south winds forecasted to 30+ mph . . . there's already scuttle about postponing it.
I saw a video of some guy almost losing his boat in practice trying to put it back on the trailer . . . . waves coming over the stern and filling his boat with water.

Should be interesting if nothing else.

this vid 'should' begin at the clip showing the launch ramp fiasco . . . .

Used to take the opening days off with a few buddies and we would watch and drink beers. The entire neighborhood would get involved with it as well based on our "leadership:...lol Used to be a lot of fun and we attended a game in Anaheim when the Pond was pretty much brand new.

I may watch some this year but the fun of it all has faded as buddies have passed or moved away. Can't even remember the last time that I filled out a bracket or even thought about it.

Does Warren Buffet still offer the million or billion dollars for a perfect bracket?

Yep, Warren Buffet still offers a Million dollars to any employee that completes a perfect bracket, and no one has yet to claim the prize.

Have faith! I miss Lawrence. My sons middle name. Still have friends there. I was at green hall across from allen field house. I would park next to Bill evey now and then. Never did get to see him. Bummer!

I have been to a lot of sporting events in my life. Growing up i had access to season tickets for laker, kings, clippers and dodgers. Nothing and I mean nothing comes close to the feeling you get in that field house. The entire place shakes. I love it!

It's an awesome experience. Wife graduated with Danny Manning of the " DANNY AND THE MIRACLE'S" of 1988 with a last name of Price she was right in line with him at graduation. was kinda cool. Maybe they can find a way.

Same here...our kids go to Etiwanda HS so it always fun watching those open division schools tangle. With Etiwanda girls winning the CA State Championship this year for the 3rd straight year they became the first school ever (boys or girls) to ever 3-peat. Sierra Canyon one it two times in a row a few years ago.

Etiwanda playing Mater Dei had 3 McDonald's All American's on the court. 1 going to LSU, 1 to Cal and 1 to Iowa.

They are fun to watch.

Same here. At least they made it during a down year.
The next two years will be exciting to watch. I'm grabbing season tickets as I think we will be going deep into the tournaments in the next few years.
