When he first got it I drove it with 5 other people in the boat and it ran strong.. pulled hard out of the hole and ran it up to 85 mph. I didn't hold it open because some people on the boat weren't comfortable and were wanting to slow down.... and it's not my boat. That is the only time I have driven it. He just cruises around in it and takes his family and friends at slower speeds. He is looking to get a larger slower boat because that's how he uses it. My Howard deck has the same motor and ran 90 stock.. hits the hundred mark now but that is after whipple dust was sprinkled on it. In a 25 foot v hull anything over 80 is hauling.. just my opinion. I imagine a few more mph could be rung out of it with propping or shortening drive. It is a great low hour boat that handles like a sports car. Howard builds them right. The owner just cruises and rarely goes over 60 mph. I know it sounds like the old lady from Pasadena story but it is the truth.

I am looking for a Howard 25 MCOB. I came across this thread by Google searching 25 Bullets for sale. I am a motivated buyer. I live in Texas, but I am willing to drive out for the right boat.

I saw where you said he is keeping it last year, but several months have passed and would like to see of he changed his mind.
