It’ll come with the dock, which both charges it and allows you to play on the TV. Get another pair of controllers and you’ll be able to play 4 player games.

Just download all the games unless you want him to have something physical to open. Super easy through the store.

Got my son one a year out so ago.
SD card is a must if your downloading games. I like having the psychical game like old school.

My kids have JackBox on theirs . Lots of different games. Kinda like the “You Don’t Know Jack” games. We play with family over. Fun for 8 years old though 80 years old. You log on on your phones to lay.

Download the games so you don't have to keep track of the game cards. Also game a pro controller if you play a lot on the tv, more comfortable than the little joy cons. I like the switch when we travel, can play it in the car and plug it into tv's when you get there.

Mario kart 8 is cool. Buy the subscription. You get the classic games with that. Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, and Genesis games.

I think they do Fortnite and rodblox on the switch. I don’t really know they each have switch and then share ps5 and my oldest boy just had a gaming computer built by my wife’s best friends boyfriend. Changes colors and stuff

Pretty sure my wife just did the subscription the other day $76 or so for the year to have the classic games for several devices. Those little game cards are so easily lost. Protip do not let your kids borrow or lend them with their cousins lol

The Zelda games are pretty awesome. Also download the parent control app, it allows you to really limit their gaming time.

Its an RPG game. First hand moderator.

Dodge Gummy and Boner ads while regulating political posts, all while chewing down people in the classifieds ads on shit you don't plan on buying.

My Daughter really enjoys the Zelda and Splatoon games. She plays anything Super Mario related. Currently stuck on Minecraft. I would suggest to get the cartridges. I’m a gamer and like physical games instead of downloads. Definitely get an SD card. The Nintendo online service allows you to play most old school games. The switch really is fun for the whole family. We take them everywhere with us. They come in handy when traveling. They sell small adapters to connect to TV so you don’t have to take the bulky docking station.
