Impressive To say the least!!!! I really Dislike super beetles especially the curved window ones. Even cut up one of the flat window units to get the pan I needed for my Baja. This is one I’d put up with having.

Cool car! But if I ever get a classic VW again, it will be another Ghia. Had a 1970 Ghia coupe and the thing was a major chick magnet.

Hell i remember back in the early eighties when i had my corvette a bug came up next to me and wanted to race. all i saw was taillights

I rode in a 11 second bug back in high school at Firebird Lake. The guy used me as ballast trying to make the thing go straight. Pretty scary thinking about it as I got older, stock passenger seat with a lap belt. Driver seat was a tubed racing seat, LOL.

Actually worse it was a 77 but it had been slightly modified. tunnel ram, carter carb ,headers, cam etc 4 speed so it moved pretty dam good

That thing would be straight up scary. I have a 74 standard beetle with probably half as much power in a 2017cc and it’ll make anyone crap their pants
