Never has in all of So-Cal professional sports (Football, Baseball, Hockey) have the local teams played against each other in the Playoffs...

About F-ing time that the Queens.... err Kings got good enough to go deep into the playoffs to MEET THE ACTUAL SO-CAL POWERHOUSE HOCKEY TEAM (except last year when the Ducks f-ed up..that don't count..LOL)

I was at the game last night. Nothing wrong with chanting for your team- but will say the Ducks support does not travel well compared to what the Kings brings into the Pond.

That 20 yr old goal tender that the ducks brought up was on fire. He definitely had something to prove, and does not want to get sent back down. That was a lot of pressure on him and he answered. Kings defense stepped up in the second, ducks did not get one shot on goal the entire 2nd period. Kings applied the pressure and the ducks goal tender answered. I said it earlier, couldn't get over confident, we saw how the sharks went down. Next game is going to be crazy for sure.

All the playoffs have been pretty great so far. The wild are looking better than expected, the rangers came to life in the last game, crosby is still a cry baby. It's time for the kings to take one back in Anaheim.

PD....agreed....at Honda center....the Kings have a larger fan base than the Ducks.....which SUCKS....but it is what it is......and it was that way even during the 5yr year span when the Ducks won the cup and before the Kings won their cup....
Been a great series....well worth the 20 year wait....
