So a friend of a friend passed away. He was a retired Lockheed engineer. He built scale replica warbirds in his spare time. So he had the fill on garage machine shop. Every thing super nice and top quality. I ended up with this stuff so far and there might be more to follow. Had to pull the table off the mill to get it out of the room it was in. Got it back together today and powered it up and the prototrak works like it should. Pretty stoked.

Beautiful tools, it must be an honor to have them in your garage.

No doubt that finger brake will help you fab some cool parts. It's a really nice piece.

Very nice score, I'm sure he'd be happy they are living on in a good home.

I got a Mill and Lathe from a wife who's husband passed, you could tell he really cared for the machines. Every time i use them i think of him even though we never met.

My grandfather had a table saw from another close family. The gentleman was a small Asian man who used it to make small wooden boxes. They were works of art. It is the same for me when I use it I think of him using it to make things I could only wish I had the skills to make. Thanks for posting as it has been a while since i had to barrow the saw at my fathers. Oh the memories of life. 👍

Sorry to hear about your friends friend. Nice come up. Love the Bridgeport mill. Looks to be a really nice lathe. Brake and shear. Didn't look at it to long as I am jealous

I figured it wasn't. I meant nice score but didnt want it to sound so blunt. Do you have mill and lathe experience already?
Yes I have been playing with them since high school and have them in my shop also.

So how did you end up moving the mill?
Paid the guy. It took them about 6 hours to get them out and loaded and a couple of hours to get them unloaded and in the garage. Thats how the brake and shear came about. Since the movers are here you might as well get them since you know you want them.
