Hi Everyone. I'm Matt I live in Southern California. I've been reading RDP for many years and finally decided to join. My family wasn't a boating family growing up, but I have always loved boats and was lucky enough to have my friends family take me boating with them. I would tag along on trips to Havasu, Mojave and Blythe and more recently Powell. Friends in high school were ski racing so I had some exposure to that style of boat. Two years ago I finally purchased my first boat a Wellscraft 21 V-Trap with a 496 Mag from Kyle at WOT marine. I had Rene at Riverside Boat Upholstery build an all new interior. I added a GPS, new amps and speakers. I'm working on figuring out what the best prop for this boat will be. Its a little difficult because there aren't many out there and they all have different power, but that will be part of the fun.

I owned the boat for 12 years. I ran a 26 pitch Bravo Prop with a 454 Magnum MPI and standard length bravo outdrive. That setup worked great for pulling skiers and speed. The day we sold it was a hard day for the family.
