Congrats.

I miss my Jeep. Tried to be nice, wife was driving the JKUR since I was driving a commuter 90 miles round trip. That turned to complaints about ride quality and “I want to drive over 80 sometimes”. So bye bye to our beloved JK and into the X5. The X5 is the best tow vehicle I’ve used for the Laveycraft, but I miss the Jeep.
I had planned to buy a JT next year when they come out, but our goal of a river house will come first. But some day, I’ll be back out in those black diamond trails, Rompin the fuck out of a new Jeep.

BTW, my rubicon’s rock sliders met their first rock when it was 3 days old.

This JL rides better than our F250 and Suburban, they have done a good job.

What was the build date?

I passed on a stock JL Sahara edition for my wife. I didn’t drive a rubicon because the JL would never see a trail since we already have a jeep that will shit on any rubicon (and most other things for that matter).

It drove horrible (steering wandered) and the 8 speed auto tranny shifted horrendous in my opinion.

I’m still interested in one for her but The dealer told me the issues were going to be addressed and to give it some time.

It showed up at the dealer last week Tuesday, we picked up Wednesday. Shifts and steering is perfect IMO.

I live just up YL Blvd from J Star. Do they buy new cars / trucks and then trick them out?

They have some fixed up Wranglers- in house Mechanic Todd builds them, he is solid. Stop by and check them out. Good dudes.

How does the new higher rear end (low number) and the new tranny handle those big tires? Hopefully its not shifting up and down all the time. Those are good looking Jeeps!

4:10 gears i believe. The stock tire is about a 33” and these are 35”. I have not noticed anything. I do plan on having the programming adjusted for shifting points

Great looking Rubicon. Great move telling her it’s hers, it’s like a free detail service for life.

Yeah you guys have lost touch.

You aren’t getting out of the dealer and on the road with a fully loaded Rubicon for less than 50-52k +++
