New Docks going in Channel?

New docks (alot of them) are being assembled on East side of channel right under golf course. I would say at least $200-300K worth. Anyone know where they are going?

No. They are no where near ready to drop in the lake. My guess is they are going to shit-can the current crap at the Resort and put them in. They look to have enough to make them perm Desert Storm layout.

They might make it a little longer, but the new docks a Windsor made it about 6 months before all the corners were bare.

I do see several positives to that surface texture. #1 is obviously traction, highly unlikely you'll slip, but if you do or fall, you best have some bandages handy.

Now it's rocks and shells, as a child it was removing long silvers due to the weathered wood planking on the docks, it's dangerous out there folks.

Anyway, in this case not my problem. I haven't stepped on a London Bridge Resort dock in well over 30 years, doubt I'll have any need to now either.

The LB did such a good job with dock maintenance on the old docks, I guess they needed something else to reduce future maintenance costs.

Would not be my first idea for docks, but then again we are talking LB. Charge a fortune for the cheapest things possible.

Was it really 6 months ? ? I'm thinking more like 3 months, they went to shit real fast. I would love to see a decent dock, and some form of a break of the wakes coming from the lake from idiots who plow past right at the buoy line ..... and of course waves from wind. Would be nice!!!!

Looking at the difference between that surface and the sides I think there’s something that goes on top of that.

New docks are going in. Maybe it's just the way they look but man the slips look small. Perfect for bass boats.
