New 27 Speedster

The owner picked this up at our shop yesterday and is headed to Parker for Thanksgiving weekend.:champagne::champagne: 700 Merc with a NXT drive with ITS and a 5 blade labbed prop. Bob took it for a test drive at Elsinore and turned 103 MPH. We were in a hurry to get it ready for the owner so we didn't have time to fine tune it. It should do 105+ MPH. If your in Parker this weekend, you should be able to see it cruising on the river.arty:arty:

Yes, if you look closely the transom has tha NXT Gimbal with a #6 bolted to it. The NXT tranny is in the gimbal but driving a #6 instead of the NXT. This is how Fountain sells there 700SCi/NXT package.

great power train combo and attractive gel colors and graphics as usual for eliminator. i was seriously considering the 27 speedster, but ended up ordering an RPM 26 Redline instead. either boat represent outstanding choices for single engine cats. i am sure we will see the owners sometime at havasu and we can discuss the attributes of both boats.

Thanks for all of your comments guys...I'm really happy with how great the boat looks and how well it ran right off the production floor. Bob Leach and his team at Eliminator really have out done themselves on this project and truly do build the one of the best performance boats in the world. We still have some tuning to do on the boat including prop testing, adding a torque tab to the lower unit, and of course stepping up the power with a Stage 3 upgrade. Best run so far was 105 mph out at Parker up river and the boat is rock solid at that speed. I'll post some vids if I can figure out how to do it.

Hope to see you you out at Havasu soon daveb1. RPM's 26 is a real nice boat. I'll look forward to comparing notes with you. In fact, the sportboat magazines should do something like this where they feature 2-3 comparables like the auto magazines do.

I'm with you man, cant beat the #6. I have an f29 with single 700sci, don't be afraid to ask any questions I would be glad to help. Hopefully one day we can meet I would like to see your boat in person and possibly take a ride. Get the Whipple stuff done, you will be amazed on how that boat wakes up. If you got 105 now you will see close to 115 is my guess.

That is a Great number to reach with such a reliable setup. Any details on the prop he is running, before after the Whipple upgrade? Gopro this thing, I'm sure the acceleration is amazing!
