What's the power going to be?
Did the customer change up the graphics or is this a different boat?
Yes, there were some additional mods to the scheme after the above rendering...I understand there's also some additional top deck mods coming...tanks are in and bulkheads fitted...should be out on the rigging line early next week.
Not as yet...sorry for the late response...would be an interesting build though...:thumbup:Has there been a 27 Speedster built with outboards?

That is the boat I wanted before I re did the dcb. I talked to Bob about doing it just was not ready to pull the trigger but it will be a possible future boat for me. I think it would look and run amazing.
The boat in post #7 was very close to the color of the 28 Speedster we had. I loved the color and always wished the green could be seen in the water. The boat was prettier on the trailer than on the water. Will buy another one someday. Hope they fully cap this one.
You did a nice re-do on you DCB, btw...
We've gotten 3-probably ests for info on building a twin OB 27' Speedster. There might be some re-tooling needed but it would benefit all future builds I
I just sent off a rough estimate to Quebec, Canada. It would be a great Winter build and feature boatat Shows.
I have so many people hitting me up for my boat it's tough not to build a new one. probably good the banks won't loan money cause if they did I would prob be in there with u talkin lol. I remember when I was talking to Bob two years back I got a brief fuck you from a bank with a 771 credit score and 75k cash to put down. Hope someone builds one soon!!
There lending now...!!!
Yep Gary, 496's. Geez I sure miss her, still as pretty as a picture, wish I still had her. Thanks Tom

Looks awesome!
Setback brackets looks awesome! Who did you use to make those?
What advantages do the set-backs offer? Cleaner water to the props?
Setback is moving the cg to allow the boat to carry the bow with less trim and allows the boat to run flatter. Less trim is more efficient and equals more speed.
