Needles to Pirates Cove via Dirt Road Question

Does anyone know if the dirt road by Jack Smith's the one that runs parallel to the train tracks gives you access to Pirates Cove Peninsulas? I have used this dirt road to get to some of the beaches but never all the way to pirates.

I want to take my 4x4 truck or rzr and meet up with some friends that are camping there.

Just want to make sure there are no gates blocking the entrance to the Pirates Cove Property or if they don't like rzr's on there property that aren't technically camping there.

I’ve gone that way before and there is at least one gate but the couple times that I have gone through, it’s been open. They do make people that are staying there pay a fee for having a sxs and they put one of those wrist bands on the car to show that you paid. So, if you don’t have that, you might get in trouble (if they catch you).

There is no gate. I do it all the time. Follow the road on either side of the tracks and just know where you need to turn left. It’s easy.

Yes follow the train tracks all the way to pirates if I remember correctly. The trail zigs.and bags through the washes.

No gates. Knowing pirates cove they probably have a fast trac and license plate readers to collect their fees for OHV use

One word of caution, be careful as there a few blind corners, on coming traffic some times does not yield. Several nice off shoots that track you along the river.
