A few random pics from last weekend. Most of our group is there all week. I shot pretty much anyone that went by the point at times when I had my camera on me. I think I'm going to retire this 14 year old camera after this trip. Time to modernize.

I started off at Billy's. He always has some cool shit around.

I set up camp and launched the family boat and gave rides to my kids and brother.

I love this guy! (Rick King) Always so fun to hang out with and about as good of an engine builder as there is imo.

The Spring family was out having a good time whom I barely just met! Seem like cool folks!

Did a lot of people head home after this weekend or is there still a good amount of people staying thru the week into next weekend?

Fantasy made a similar hull as well. My Dad had two during the early’60’s through late ‘70’s.

Fantasy made a Hydro, not a cat, but equally cool.
About a decade ago there was a Fantasy for sale about a mile from my house, beat to shit, needed everything but still I was interested. He wanted some ridiculous amount of money for it so I passed.

Growing up we had an Anthony that looked similar to this. Used to go fishing at the LB breakwater and we all fought for the top of the engine cowling to sit and fish. Then my dad upgraded to a 100 horse merc. I think original engine was a 75 evinrude

That's right, the Jet-Star and Jet-Cat.
I was told when I was a kid that the boats were built by the Anthony 'glass pool company, a division of it? I dunno if that's true or not as the boats were built in Southgate and the pools were out in the valley.

No relation to Anthony boats of the 70s and 80s.

Great shots!! Thanks for posting.

We'll be staying on the water just south of the Needles bridge week after next. Hows the water level? Hoping to get the Cig in the water and keep it on the dock but last year this time the water was unusually low during the day. Got a bunch of sea grass up in one bell housing that F"d up my trim pump.

Speaking of Addictors, I've been searching for one (or anything similar really) for my boys. Love those little things.

I was only there a few days. The water did drop 2 of the 3 days around 2-3 in the afternoon (not that much) before going back up. You should be good especially below the Needles bridge. 👍

Man I’d like to find a Rayson like that.

haha build a new one, you'd be ahead in the money dept.

@Sharp Shooter man thats good getting people out, I didnt even hear people were meeting up, was this a Billy deal or just a few guys meeting up in needles. I would have hauled the boat up from havasu!

I’ve been watching that, just curious why it hasn’t sold.

would make a fun play boat or shadetree racer GN boat.

I'm not a huge yellow fan, (which is ironic is my boats secondary color is yellow) but ya.

There was an event planned but it was cancelled. A lot of us had reservations already so we made a vacation out of it. The normal cast of krazys stays the week after the event to go boating without the shitty weekend water.

We had a 25 year old kid (Travis) cruise down from NorCal with his girlfriend. He barely just got his blown flat bottom together. Friday he worked on it most of the day and got it working good. Saturday he took his girl down river a few miles and proposed to her (she said yes). He then went to Powell and ran the boat all over and now he's in Parker at Echo. He posted some great gopro vid from Powell. He reminds me of me at that age. Taking my flat anywhere I wanted.
