Damn wake boatsJumped the river. Can confirm
Packed in my truck ready to evac. Power gone. Real bad.
The fire is up river and moving away from their places, hopefully it continues that way@Big B Hova and @Bigbore500r are your places in the path. Hope everyone is safe out there, houses can be replaced.
Just get out safeGetting worse by the minute. I was going to stay and fight but lost power so no water.
Damn... So this is North of the Needles bridge?
Yes North of the bridge.Damn... So this is North of the Needles bridge?
Fuck thieves. Hope your guys pad remains safe.Everyone from the surrounding areas responded, as far as Redlands. Helicopter helped some of the real bad loom ups near houses, was very greatful to see the bird flying with the bucket..., it was and felt like a war zone. I have a ton of pictures will post later. Flames as high as 40 feet and 100 feet wide, it was as worrisome and you could imagine. My wife was actually one of the first 911 call takers for the fire. Evacuation level in place right now if concerned or changes direction. Cali side 50% contained, active fires still in AZ side. We are safe from what I can tell for now but I have the wife and pups ready to jet within a few minutes if we get a call. I stayed during the fire we actually had lookie loos and a couple of trucks with possible looters driving around looking at houses (buddy at MCSO relayed to keep watch for them), they would have been in a world of hurt if they tried something in our neighborhood I will just leave it at that Thanks for the concerns, hope nothing flares up tonight.
I’d go with homeless.cause???? fireworks? homeless? stupidity? chains dragging? I don't think it was lightening
Not known yet, it started by the 40 overpass in needles just up the street from the pizza place, SB county was there with 2 engines and seemed like they had it under control then it caught wind and spread like crazy, burned north up river then jumped the river to the AZ side about a mile south of courtright and dike road and spread real fast.cause???? fireworks? homeless? stupidity? chains dragging? We were on the 40 about 5:30 heading home there was one unit with a couple fire fighters working it on the fwy. It looked like it was ripping farther north. Not known yet, it started by the 40 overpass in needles just up the street from the pizza place, SB county was there with 2 engines and seemed like they had it under control then it caught wind and spread like crazy, burned north up river then jumped the river to the AZ side about a mile south of courtright and dike road and spread real fast.
the one thing I was going to list but didn'tTrailer tire started it on the shoulder of the 40.
Thanks appreciate it. I gotta hand it to Mohave Electric, a few poles and lines caught fire and the power went out but they had it back up within 90 minutes. Going to be sleeping with 1 eye open tonight for flare ups. As for thieves, lets just say that it would be ill advised for them to FK with our or our neighbors houses.Fuck thieves. Hope your guys pad remains safe.
It all depends on who is paying the bill. Its probably under contract with the National Forest Service, and has to be ready for them.
It looks to be out from what I can see.Any updates on the fire?
According to Mohave Daily News no homes were lost. That’s good news. I know a couple people on Dyke rd, did their houses and barns survive?
