Sometimes i feel like i make too many threads. LOL

Losing sleep over stupid shit like this. I currently have a black sparco steering wheel and would like to change it. The wheel never goes back to center so it drives me nuts. Also getting new gauges so would like to make the colors flow better.

Current set up.

Imco. He needs a symmetrical wheel due to full hydraulic steering.

Personally I don't like the newer style steering wheels with the huge center hubs. I think Jay Dubs setup would be nice with blue to match your gauges.

I will have to dig up what I’d use.. get marine sells it, and you want a crt system to integrate trim switches into the three spoke as well.

I bought this steering column with paddles. Might not use the paddles because I’m slowly getting use to the foot trim.

I’m an issotta guy. They’re just so nice looking. And the feel is unmatched. You grab onto an issotta you feel the quality. Yeah, they’re expensive compared to others but not crazy and you definitely get what you pay for. We had AJ install the Carlotta on the cafe racer and the top gun came with a Tivoli

Looking at your dash, I’d get the dark blue leather wrapped issotta carlotta. Gangster!
Or in grey leather to match the carpet and gauge backs. But I like the flair and boldness of going with blue.

Isotta is number one on the list. Just feel like it’s too bling but it might match on the theme.

Here are the before and after pics. The first pic was the original Magic gages adn dash layout. The second is after hydraulic steering and conversion of all gages and switches. The third pic is for fun. The boat is blue and grey graphics with a lime green pin stripe. The green gages look pretty cool at night ;)

Are you staying with the blue gauge bezels?

Missed a pic at the end. Got rid of the colored bezels and went with polished for bezels, throttle and switches. Looks a lot cleaner and brings it up to date!

Negative. Cutting some stainless rings and polishing it.

Here's the CRT set-up with the integrated trim switches that @RiverDave referred to. Commonly found on late model v-drive Schiadas.

It could be easily black anodized, ceracoated, etc. if you wanted black. GT Marine sells them.

Ahh basically a clock spring
Nope, unless my understanding of a clock spring is wrong. More like brushes and a contact ring. With hydraulic steering on a v-drive the wheel never returns to the same spot, kinda like your boat.
