Hi,
Does anyone know what the exact model & year of this thing?
(I don't have the serial # or any other pics)

It's up for sale and may want to pick it up.
I've looked for about an hour 1/2 and cannot find another FSR that has the exact same frame and most bike shops are closed today.

I searched the following FSR models: (It looks like 2012 colors)
XC / Comp / XC Comp / XC Pro/ Enduro / Expert / Sport.

And no luck!!
Any Specialized aficionado in here?

Thank you

FT

To me it looks like a downhill model with that suspension set up.

its a demo 8 maybe 2012/15
full down hill bike . not a bike you want to pedal accept going down to go faster.

the demo 8 is a bike used for shuttles and bike parks with lift access.
even though , I hike a bike mine 2 days a week, to hit big jumps and gaps on the local trails .

Not a bike to pedal climb local trails. heavy and to much suspension.

if your looking at Specialized? the enduro and stump jumper are great bikes. for climbing and going down.
or the Epic which is more x/c. but can send it with a few different components.

I hear ya.

What would you pay for this Specialized?
It's not an every-day bike and kind of hard to price.

I had a Iron
Horse SGS Pro that I sold 6 or 7 years ago and wish I didn't.
It was a big heavy turd but soaked up EVERYTHING!!

That seems like a lot of bike for $1500!!!!

Are downhill bikes going the way of the XC bikes where the older 26” bikes are going for cents on the dollar? Are they going to 27.5” and 29” on the DH bikes? It felt like I had to basically pay someone to take my nice 26” Yeti 575 off my hands. Moving to Menifee and it looks like I’ll be getting back into pedaling....

most Dh bikes went to 29". the last couple years. but some racers are riding 29" up front and a 27 " in the back.
26' are dinosaurs:D

my Dh sled is a 27" or 650b.
my everyday mountain ride is 29"

Well guys.......
I took a friggen nap, woke up 5 minutes ago and it was sold for $975 while I was sleeping.

Literally: "if you snooze, you loose"

Thank you all for your help tho.
I did come away with some good websites for the future. (never knew there was a KBB sort'a thing for bikes)

Thanks again

Bike is for sure a demo 8 downhill bike.

Believe it or not Facebook marketplace and Let Go have some good deals on bikes. Typically want at 27.5 wheels and 1x drivetrain, at least fox 34 fork and your set. Easy to find around 1500 bucks average I would say.
