Those seem to be the most common nowadays. Idk if marine west is manufacturing there own, but most are accon.

I have those at the rear where the bimini poles actually attach to the boat and also at the front where the straps attach. I love them. No pins to drop into the water or lanyards to deal with and potentially have rubbing somewhere. The mount itself is also low profile and won't snag or rub a hole in any boat cover you might use. I am not aware of any better option.

They work great on the "Toon", no experience with them at 80+ mph but I'll bet they'd work good there too...clean, smooth and simple.

Thanks to you all. Just received 4EA that I ordered on ebay. Great price. These will soon be installed on my 22' Schiada. I will now be able to place the bimini on the aft set so that it can remain on the boat when not needed.
