Naples, FL Condo with a Slip and Lift

Paid 745 for it in February of 22 and now have it listed for 949. Not a bad increase for 14 months.

333 a month HOA.

Beautiful place, and really doesn't seem too pricey for what it is. I was expecting it to be priced higher. That's a paradise place, and people are asking that much for places out here.

I am surprised how low the price is. Especially since it is right next to Marco Island, which is real nice.

It could use a laundry room. I wonder if you can see boat dock from balcony or windows? It’s nice to have eyes on your boat, when inside unit. For me, I actually have to get up and walk to window or balcony, so I can look downward to see my boat. I can’t see it from my sofa! Lol

The boat lift has to be a pain in the ass in heavy traffic since it appears to be in a wake zone. What I mean about a PIA. Imagine your boat is on lift, but just starting to raise, a big boats wake will knock the boat out of position, forcing you to lower lift again and reset boat. It happens to me, and I am in a no wake zone.

Here is something else about the condo……… It is the closest you can get to the MAJOR party area……. Keewadin Island. I’ve had some great times at Keewaydin Island. It is a lot like the upper sandbar, up river at Havasu. It goes off!

The tide change is quite a site too. All of a sudden, the water just starts moving. People grab floats and go for a ride. It’s fun! Lots of shallow areas.

Btw, a typical condo in Naples is in the millions. Judge Judy paid 15 mill for hers. Naples is known for very spacious condo buildings. Units 2700sf to 5000sf are abundant. They are all multi million dollar units.

Another fun fact about the condo……… It is about a 5 minute boat ride to the Publix grocery store, which has docks, so that you can go grocery shopping with your boat. The west coast of Florida has multiple Publix grocery stores, with dockage. Publix is Florida‘s major grocery chain. I wish they would build one of the waterfront grocery stores near my home. Just saying

I absolutely love Marco Island. There's great places to eat, I always recommend The Snook Inn, and Keewaydin is right there. I posted a thread here years ago from the Canoe races, which is an epic party.

Also posted this thread, because the quality of life in Naples is just worth it.

If I had the coin to fill the boat lift, and have the condo, I'd lease an industrial unit to house my normal stuff.

That is Isles of Capri,where I live...I bought a lot in 2012 and built a house...I moved from So Cal and space 21 at the islander....I am still very happy with my decision to move here...The only problem with La Peninsula is the home owners association rules.

Timing is funny. My wife was just suggesting we buy a condo in Naples. Not on the water but close. Have 2 brothers that live there. One in a condo sub 500k and one on the water at about 1.5 mil. Uncle lost his whole house in Ian, but he is pretty wealthy, so just went and bought another. Wife was thinking we could rent it to my dad who snowbirds in Naples for 6 months and let family and friends use it in the summer. Her thoughts are that we will probably be in Fl full time at some point as we get older. Who know we still need to talk a lot about it.
