This thread is just to give you guys my experience so that it might help others. Please keep your opinions to yourself about the vax and all the other BS etc...

Well, I figured it would catch up to us at one point or another and it finally did. We've been to Vegas countless times, went to Miami, to Nashville, to Maui, and we flew to all these places and never got the vid. We've also been to Parker and Havasu and went to BJ's when we were there for Desert Storm where I believe covid originated from . On Friday afternoon, we went to a year-end party at my wife's work place and one of her colleagues came to the party even though she was sick, fucking bitch!! She tested positive on Sunday. So far about 8 people have tested positive and I'm sure there are more.

Wife and I woke up Monday morning with a fever and body aches and we decided to go get tested to see if we got Covid and got the positive results today. We both got the shots in March and April. I got Moderna and She got Pfizer. No boosters. We only had fever Sunday night and Monday during the day and that went away with some tylenol. We haven't had fever for two days now. Other than that, it just feels like a cold. Yesterday and Today have been no big deal. No issues with breathing, eating, body aches, nothing. Just some congestion like a head cold. We've been drinking lots of fluids including lots and lots of tea with honey and lemon. I've been working from home as this is a really busy time of the year for me with tax planning and projections.

I'll keep this going daily to update how we're feeling but for now, this is a breeze.

Here's a list of supplements we are taking at the moment recommended by our doctor.

Why Melatonin? I thought people have no trouble sleeping with the vid?

As I said on the other thread - Got it the evening we got back from Key West (11/15). Fever, flu symptoms first two days. Lost taste and smell. Then just exhausted. No other symptoms and fever was gone after two days. I took the above listed vitamin regimen as well as Ivermectin. First week didn't feel horrible, got up couple times a day and walked around the block, etc. Thought I was pretty much done with it 11/21, went out and ran errands and when I got home BOOM! Straight up exhausted, zero energy. Slept pretty much for 3 days straight and was exhausted all the second week. Came back to work 3rd week but was still tired.

So, point being, take it easy, don't rush into "i'm all better". I've known a couple people that have gotten it lately and they all have the same shit. I don't think it's as strong as it was. I've had worse colds frankly. You'll be good. Just take it easy.

According to a Cleveland Clinic study, melatonin may help prevent COVID-19 or aid in the treatment of COVID-19 due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Researchers found that melatonin reduced the likelihood of study participants getting COVID-19 by 28%

I've also been adding turmeric powder to our tea once a nice because it seems to help with Covid symptoms as well. It specifically helps retain taste and smell.

What sucks is I visited my mom on Saturday and I called her today and she has symptoms too. She went and took a test and is waiting for her results. This will be her third time getting covid.

I got a 3 day cold when I had the China virus.

I didn't take a dam thing for it!

I was given similar vitamin regime but mine and most of them I have seen have 1000 mg of vitamin C

Does your other vitamin have C ?

Glad you brought that up. We're taking 500mg of Vitamin C.

I had a throbbing headache on Monday so I just “panicked” and knew I had covid. Lol. The way it is in todays world.

Just to be safe I started taking;

100mcg D3
2000mg vit C
100mg Zinc
One time took 4 advils

No more headache or anything else. Just decided to be proactive and will continue this thru Xmas Day.

My doctor put me on the same regimen minus the Vitamin B.

He also suggested Mucinex 1200 mg 2x a day and that really helps with the chest congestion and coughing.

Tumeric is beneficial in many ways especially to prevent swelling. That and tart cherry juice.

I had it earlier this month which was my second time. Not vaxed but did opt for the antibody iv on day three as well as all the supplements listed above. after a week I was feeling better when my wife and three little girls tested positive. The kiddos fine with no symptoms but the wife was down for a week and she is not vaxed either.

Sorry to hear, Shin. I am dang near a recluse right now, the last thing I want to do is bring it home to my mom, she is now 90...so I stay home mostly and work on packing up. Wife has closed the door to her office and they are doing business by phone unless a well known client they trust asks for a face to face appointment. Right now that isn't happening very often.
I will keep your entire family in our prayer list, which grows longer almost every day.

same, when my wife had it last Christmas (she didn't even know it, thought it was her allergies acting up)... we were around her entire family and then my entire family between Christmas eve, Christmas day... and even our desert friends after that... and nobody else got it, but me lol.

I’ve been taking 3000 iu of vitamin D the past two months because I was deficient when I took my blood test so luckily I’ve inadvertently done the loading phase

Damn bud… pay close attention both you and Kathy. My boss got it a few weeks ago (not vaccinated)… back and forth in and out of the hospital. He died Saturday. Healthy and fit, 62.

On the flip, my plumbing foreman had it a month ago (also not vaccinated), fat and out of shape. Spent 2 days in the hospital and is fine now.
