This is how he spends his day
That's my bet he can smell and hear them.Do you have gophers
no...lol, I have no idea what he's after, and he never finds it....but he tears the shit of the "grass".Do you have gophers
our old 400lbs fat woman neighbor brought that over for when she used to come by and get fucked up on white claws with the wife because she couldn't squeeze between the armrests on our chairs and I got tired of welding the frames back together. Is that your dunce chair when you piss of the old ball & chain?
He's 5....lol.2 of my 3 pups do the same. Hunting for insects. They even chase crickets and butterflies. Lol. They are puppies so hoping they grow out of it. They do eat whatever they catch and that worries me a bit
Never a dull moment with him? lolHe's 5....lol.
Another fun trick, when we're going for a walk and the wife or the kid has the leash, I yell "GET IT" if he passes a tree, and he'll strip all the bark off of the bottom 5 feet of the trunk with anger lol.
only about 1/2 the time he's asleep.Never a dull moment with him? lol
no...lol, I have no idea what he's after, and he never finds it....but he tears the shit of the "grass".
The only thing I've ever seen is squirrels....no holes in the ground, no other creatures. He does it at our grass beach at the river too, and wherever else he goes....but only when kids are out there. If he's by himself with no audience....he just shits in the grass. He hears and smells moles and/or voles.
Doubt it’s gophers. You’d know if you had a gopher population.
That is the identical behavior all my cats displayed hunting moles.
Even the vertical leap.
Except the cats would usually rip the thing out of the ground.
Guess he’s just crazy! The only thing I've ever seen is squirrels....no holes in the ground, no other creatures. He does it at our grass beach at the river too, and wherever else he goes....but only when kids are out there. If he's by himself with no audience....he just shits in the grass.
Thats the way I'm leaningGuess he’s just crazy!
He's cute!! Is he a Foxhound?
When we got him he was a beagle....now he's a coonhoundHe's cute!! Is he a Foxhound?
One of those transitional pups? lolWhen we got him he was a beagle....now he's a coonhound
You were wearing a hat...right? he doesn't like those either lol. That fucker is odd for sure. Lol. He didn't like me much
He is trying to impress you and show you he is doing his job.Thats the way I'm leaning
Phx kind of does this as well.....Just letting me know the value she brings to the table...lolHe is trying to impress you and show you he is doing his job.
After a good tummy rub my little dude will jump up run to the back door and bark at nothing to show he is doing his part lol.
My wirehair is about the same.My GSP hunts anything that moves in the backyard, animals, leaves, shadows, blades of grass....at least it keeps him still for a bit, cause the rest of time hes up to no good....lol...
Phx kind of does this as well.....Just letting me know the value she brings to the table...lol
Only time she has ever done that. It was obviously as good as advertisedWhat about the value she took away from the table?
An entire corned beef ring a bell?
You still owe me a sandwich.
He isnt dumb....just special
Too funny. Same thing happened here. Played the video and had 2 Westies barking. Guess we’re gonna need one of those “don’t play video at work” warnings, only now for dogs.Of course I watch the video and my idiot dog starts barking in the house with his hair standing up.
I'd say that dog is frustrated and desperately needs exercise......like long runs ( aka- hunts) daily....
I say your house was built on an Indian burial ground and he can hear them!
That or the termite infestation gnawing away at the floor joists.I say your house was built on an Indian burial ground and he can hear them!
