I wasn't sure about the new Chevy but it really grew on me. Love it so far as its one of the nicest trucks I have ever owned. Fully loaded RST with Z71. No leather.

Letting the coilovers settle before I decide if I will lower the front a little or go with Deaver 1" springs in rear. It's definitely a little tall in the front but King says give it a little time.

Did Baja Kits upper control arm kit with their 2.5 King coilovers with remote reservoirs and rear Kings. The Brenthal stuff is absolutely beautiful and high quality. Never had King suspension or anything that high end on a truck and so far so good. Ride is better than stock.

Wheels are 17" Method MR312s with BFG KO2s 35/12.5/17s.

Thanks to @pronstar for all the King shock info and advice as I was looking at CST and Icon as well.

Thanks for looking and have a blessed evening. :)

Bad. Ass.
Those upgraded rezzies are dope.
Best looking ‘19 I’ve seen by far [emoji106]

I don’t slow down for anything, and am aI’m usually on the throttle LOL

Those shocks work best when you pound some energy into them [emoji106]

Awesome truck! 6.2?

No sir, 5.3. They don't offer the 6.2 in the RST. I would have considered it, but honestly we tow very rarely and really don't drive much. hahaha. The 35s wont help much in acceleration but the 8sp trans really makes up for a lot. I drive like a 90 year man, so it should be enough for me.

Better gas mileage. I thought the RST was the “hot rod” version of the truck and came with a 10 speed. Can’t keep up with all of these changes...

Do you rub at all with those 35’s?

No rubbing whatsoever; even lock to lock on uneve surfaces. However, I have not gone off roading quite yet so ill keep you posted.

I removed the front mud flaps and small bracket that pushed out fender liner. There was a small hole left from the flap that I covered with this small GM emblem. I think it looks kind of cool and much better than the ugly square flaps.

Agreed. Nice work polishing that turd. That is about how mine would look had I got a ‘19 Chevy.

Get some rear fender liners is my only suggestion.

Thanks for all the kind comments and replies. Sorry for the filthy exterior. It will never be that dirty again unless it's an offroad adventure.

I know the new front end is controversial but I really dig it. It makes my 17 Ram look archaic and tiny.

@Xtrmwakeboarder I think the new 10sp is only avail in the 6.2. RST has the monochromatic front end and rear bumper with gloss black mirrors. I really wasn't too keen on the Trail Boss look with the blacked out front and rear bumper as it looked too much like a work truck for me. Plus I would have paid for items I was going to change like the 2" front lift and blacked out wheel/ offroad tire package.

Makes sense. I think you picked the perfect package. Did you look at Mazulla as well, or just Baja Kits?

I did; beautiful stuff for sure. But their control arms were a good 300.00 more due to their billet nature. Truly this is a concrete queen with some fast dirt roads on the weekends and some very med off roading. The Brenthal stuff is more than I will ever need.

Chris makes some of the nicest LT kits out there. If I had an unlimited budget for a new daily driver, I would have his parts bolted on the front of my truck too. Regardless, this truck is nicely done Sir. ;)

Not sure as I haven't driven it but maybe 25 miles since I put all the crap on. :D Our vehicles just usually sit most of the time. Our 17 truck was slightly over two years and three months old when I sold it and it had 16000 miles on it.

Lol if you drive that low of mileage who cares about MPG. I do about 4k miles a month so it makes a difference. I have a 2016 2500 on 35’s that gets around 14 on average. The 2020 1500 diesel is suppose to get around 30 so im interested in the 1500 for reg driving and then a 2010 ish F550 for the heavy towing.

Well dont hesitate to contact me in a month or so via PM and I'll give you some numbers! I have not even registered this new truck yet so my time with it is minimal at best.

Keep in mind we only put that mileage on with the one truck between the two of us (my wife and I). I have onmy had my new 19 Mustang for 5 months and it just sits. It has 750 miles on it.

It definitely is better than my Hemi Ram by far stock for stock compared to the Dodge.

The best new body style I have seen! What is the offset and backspacing on the wheels?

Yeah, it's definitely a love it or hate it body style for sure.

The wheels are 17x8.5 0 offset with 4.75 backspacing. If you go to an 18" offset jumps to -12 to 4.5 back spacing. Guys running an offset other than the zero on 17s tend to get a ton of rubbing.

I really contemplated doing the Baja Kits full Pre-runner kit with an added 3.5 inches per side of track width. I guess I wanted to stick with more of a streetable look and it's more than I would ever need. I would have got out of hand putting on glass fenders, gears, 37s and such. This has to be a good daily truck so I decided against it. Plus wife would have put the nix on putting another 15k in to a new truck. hahaha! :D

I was asked in a PM about what this kit is called; this would be the Baja Kits (Brenthal Industries) Chase Kit. Standard track width with up to 3" or 3.5 of front lift to fit 35s. Welded upper control arms to fix angles, King coilovers with remote reservoirs and rear Kings with remote reservoirs. It is really nice and the guys at Brenthal are top notch at getting back to you with any questions or concerns. They have a great rep in the industry and I would buy their stuff again.

Looks like they also hooked you up with cooling fins on the rezzies [emoji106]

That’s an upgrade from the regular rezzies.
