Air Fryer has turned me into a maniac, I have had it for 3 ear years now. I have made the most incredible air fried (grilled Cheese) I have ever had. As mentioned, tater tots, Ore-Ida fast fries cooked in it are spot on. My wife and are were talking about childhood food and we said "remember shake n bake". So I made center cut shake in bake pork chops one night and they were insanely good, nothing like the kid ones. I'll try to cook anything in mine, most work some don't...it's all fun to experiment

We like and use ours so much we actually upgraded to a larger one.

It is the ONLY way I'll cook chicken anymore (maybe if I had a smoker that would be different, but I don't). Defrosted chicken breast rubbed in lemon herb and Pappy's garlic herb seasoning. Throw them in at 400 for 15 to 17 minutes and they are PERFECT and super juicy.

Also, as it has been said, best way to reheat pizza. The elevated rack and convection keep the crust from getting soggy and spongy.

Do the wings need to be thawed, or can they be frozen?

I do a weeks worth at a time on the gas grill. 6 minutes per side and no clean up. I like the air fryer, but some of the stuff people do in it seems more complicated than the traditional ways.

There is just something about the way the air fryer cooks the chicken that seems to be it doesnt change the seasoning's flavor. I find the bbq tends to change it a little. Even if it is cooked perfectly and evenly.

Ya can’t have a deep fryer on a boat or at the dunes for obvious reasons so a good air fryer works perfect.
Consider a curly fry gadget from Northern Tool.
Bad ass curly frys.
Soak them in water to get the starch out for an even better result.

Throw some peperoni's in it for a few minutes. Taste like the peps you get on a wood fired pizza. Pretty good quick snack

Watch em though, too long and they will stink up the joint 😂

I batter strips of fish with flower, egg, & Panko. Then throw it in the air fryer. Perfect, crunchy fish comes out and I throw em tacos. THE BEST FISH TACOS!

Was an early adopter of the air frying game, I love it not for it just doing the job a bit better than others, but mainly for not having to run the damn oven in the summer time and heating up the entire house. Some tricks I learned along the way to get a more "fried" texture than oven with stuff, is to get an atomizer and put some vegetable oil in it and give a quick spritz to the contents, you'll figure out how much pretty quick, but definitely takes it up a level I think.

Yes! Ive made PERFECT bacon in mine the last few Sundays. Super easy and I rarely screw up the timing. Also, if you keep the grease down and enough space between the bacon, no real need to flip it.

https://www.amazon.com/Emeril-Pressure-AirFryer-Multi-Cooker-Accessory/dp/B07VYMX8RQ

Emeril Lagasse Pressure AirFryer, Steamer & All-in-One Multi-Cooker. Pressure & Crisper Lid, Glass Lid. Emeril Recipe Book. (8 QT With Accessory Pack)

I don't use anything else! -- until it cools down enough to use a smoker/Q -- Steamed/pressure Burgers,
spaghetti, and lapskaus are just a couple that turn out awesome under pressure. Actually use the pressure more than air fryer!

Alright, alright I am interested. So can you recommend a model that is easy to clean up? Y'all are talking about putting bacon in these things and I can't see how that would be anything but a huge mess. But I am ready to be educated in the art of the air fryer.

French fries and hot wings are pushing me over the edge.

That "Texas Toast" from Wallmart in the air fryer is like crack for me, comes out with that perfect crisp! Also, the .99c battered green beans in the fryer make great snacks.

I bought the Secura. It was cheap and I wasn't sold on this new contraption. Two years in and it just hums along 5-6 times a week! Best tater tots I've had since childhood. Killer fries also.

Only thing wrong with mine is it isn't very big. I bought a small one just to try it and love it.
It's cool to be able to cook most anything that would normally go in the oven, heating up the kitchen or deep frying which I rarely do anyway.

We bought the Ninja one a few weeks ago. The fold up one. Best nachos I’ve ever made at home.

I've had a couple now. The ones with the removable basket are nice for getting your food out but suck for cleaning and are usually smaller. The one I have now (I can't remember the brand) just has a removable bottom and is square shaped (makes cooking chicken and other meats easier) and is MUCH easier to clean.

Get the biggest one you can store and afford. Size is usually the one thing people dislike the most about these.

Btw..... They make the BEST hot dogs. 6 mins at 400 and they come out charred and perfect!

Best shake and bake pork chops...buy a can of heavy syrup apricots, marinate the chops in the syrup, coat, cook, 5 minutes before being done put the apricots on top.

Texas toast is good on the Blackstone griddle also. I just had some the other night. Hadn't had it in about ten years.

I did frozen plain chicken wings today. Seasoned them, put them in @ 400 for 30 minutes. Turned them twice. They were outstanding.

I didn't realize my fryer has a bake, roast, grill, and fry setting. I don't know the difference, but mine was on grill.
