MX-5 Cup at Daytona in the rain!

This race was a sideshow to the Rolex 24 and other events. A bunch of Miatas running in the rain at Daytona...it's some crazy stuff.

Our resident racers @LargeOrangeFont, @Cdog and @spectras only will enjoy this. I've seen these guys run before, but not in the wet. It's nuts!



The announcers are annoying as hell, but the racing is great.

Boris Said jr. is out here in spec mazda every once & a while. Saw him at the run offs. I see Boris at the track and talk a bit here and there. Real nice guy. They’re not racing super tour @ Buttonwillow this weekend.

My favorite driver. Saw him take a middle pack car and win with it. He is the statement- An average driver can’t make the fastest car win, but a great driver can make an average car win.

Miata is the best amateur racing around. The cars are so equal no one has an advantage with the car. You see guys driving them on the lawn going 4 wide….. good times

My sister in law ran the spec rx7 class for a while. Lots of fun

Seems like a real down to earth genuine guy. I’ve always been a fan due to his road racing background & crazy hair! Lol!

Boris is one of the guys who tried to buy my BMW dealership before corporate decided to F my family and Brecht Bmw in Escondido by awarding him a new franchise location in Temecula that they promised us would never happen.
He really is a cool guy though I got no i will towards him.
